Terrorists operating in the forest areas of Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State, have allegedly abducted the principal of Government Day Junior Secondary School, GDJSS, Dandume, in Katsina State.
The Principal’s name was given as Hamza Shitu.
No official statement has been received from the Ministry Of Education or any government official over the development.
However, when contacted for comments, the Police spokesman, Superintendent Gambo Isah, said he was in a meeting.
An SMS sent to his phone has also not been replied to, as of the time of filing this report.
Dandume in the Funtua Senatorial Zone of Katsina State is among the 11 Frontline Local Government Areas, bedevilled by the activities of terrorists.
