Terrorists operating in the Dutsi Forest area in the Dutsi Local Government Area of Katsina State have attacked the family house of the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, of the area, killing his mother and younger brother.
The spokesman of the Police, Superintendent Gambo Isah who confirmed the incident, however, said the command is yet to get the details of the incident.
He said the incident occurred Monday night.

According to Isah, “The incident is true, but we don’t have details yet. Our officers have already gone there, but I cannot say more than this for now.”
It was gathered that the DPO, whose name was not disclosed for security reasons, was said to be on night duty when the terrorists stormed his family house.
