Suspected terrorists on Friday night launched an attack around the famous Science school Kuru, in Jos Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria where three students were shot with one of them confirmed dead while others are in critical condition.
The attack took place at Emmy filling station directly opposite the Assemblies of God’s Church close to the school at about 10:45pm.
According to an eye witness who does not want his name mentioned, the three affected young men are few of the students from Science School Kuru who went to the fuel station to charge their phones because of power outage and while they were there, the terrorists just appeared and opened fire on them.
Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the Plateau State Police Command and that of the Special Task Force Operation Save Haven for comments proved unsuccessful as none of them was responding to calls.
