Governor Bello Mohammed has confirmed that eight soldiers were killed by the bandits unleashing terror on innocent citizens in Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria.
The eight soldiers paid the supreme price during a gun battle with the terrorists who came to attack commuters along Tsafe -Funtua -Zaria Road connecting Zamfara, Katsina and Kaduna States.

Governor Mohammed confirm this during a visit to Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the State where the terrorists killed 36 people in an attack on one of the communities.
The Governor also moved with his entourage to Anka Local Government Area to condole the people over a similar attack on some communities by the terrorists where 22 people were killed in seven communities, valuables destroyed and several others displaced.
