Terrorists operating in the Jibiya Forest of Katsina State, have again launched an attack on Kukar Babangida Village, located along the Jibiya-Katsina Road, killing one, abducting a housewife and rustling an unspecified number of animals.
According to a source in the area, the attack occurred at about 10:30 pm on June 2, when the terrorists in their numbers, stormed the village, shooting sporadically.
It was gathered that the terrorists killed one trader called Sani Ladidi, who is also known as Sani Iska, while a woman, Hafsat Isuhu Sansere, was abducted, after rustling the animals belonging to her husband, Isuhu Sansere.
The source further added that normalcy has since returned to the village, but members of the community, are living in fear.
The latest attack on Kukar Babangida is coming less than 3 days after a similar one was carried out on ‘Mile Takwas,’ Customs Checkpoint, along the same Jibiya-Katsina Road, where 3 of their Operational Vehicles were burnt, while one person sustained gunshot injury.
