No fewer than three people have been reportedly shot dead by terrorists in Pinau village of Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria.
The terrorists, were said to have invaded Pinau community on Sunday evening in the aftermath of the withdrawal of soldiers from the area on Saturday after community members had raised alarm on imminent attack.
Three persons were also abducted when the gunmen attacked the village while several others sustained injuries.

While confirming the incident, the traditional ruler, Daddau Adamu, told AIT.live that the terrorists attacked the village around 9pm following the realisation that soldiers were withdrawn from the area.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo, confirmed the incident but said the Command is on top of the situation.
