Terrorists stormed Kwarikwarasa village in Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, North-West Nigeria, killing two people with seven others abducted including a woman.
The District Head of Andarai, Aliyu Muhammad on behalf of affected communities confirmed the incident to AIT.live at Kwarikwarasa village in Maiyama Local Government. He said the terrorists entered the village when it was raining with one of those abducted later released.

The District Head appealed to the Government to do everything possible to rescue the abducted persons.
Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris who visited to commiserate with the people assured the communities that Government had put measures in place to avert recurrence of the ugly event in the area.
Governor Idris said the present administration has given the security agencies all the necessary support and cooperation towards combating terrorism and other criminal activities across the State.
He donated N10 million to the families of the deceased as well as those who sustained injuries following the attack.
