The Iyalode of Yorubaland and founder of Lawson’s Group of School, Alaba Lawson is dead.
A statement by the media adviser to the deceased Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji on behalf of the family said Lawson died at her residence located in Quarry area of Abeokuta, in the early hours of Saturday, while her corpse has been deposited at a private mortuary.
She was aged 72 years.
Alaba Lawson, a business magnate, entrepreneur and educationist, was until her death, the Iyalode of Egbaland and Yorubaland, past president of Abeokuta Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ABEOCCIMA) and NACCIMA.
