As Muslims all over the world celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has urged Muslims, to emulate the Holy Prophet Mohammed by imbibing the ideals of sacrifice he exhibited in his lifetime.
The governor’s Sallah message which was contained in a statement by his chief press secretary, Olisa Ifeajika, reminded the faithful of the important message of Eid-El-Kabir which is love, peace, and sacrifice, called for unity among Nigerians, to surmount the challenges confronting the nation.

According to the governor, his government in conjunction with the security agencies in the state will ensure peaceful celebration in compliance with the covid-19 protocols as its third wave threatens the world.
Okowa re-assured Muslims in the state of his administration’s continued commitment, to partnering with them for a stronger delta.
