The three Fouani brothers namely, Abbas, Youssef, and Amtal who were abducted by suspected kidnappers, have regained their freedom.
The brothers who are part of the prominent Fouani Nigeria limited, were forcefully taken away by suspected kidnappers on June 14 2024 around 6:00pm, while returning by boat from their factory.
According to the statement issued by the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, they were rescued Monday night in Orugbo Iddo by security operatives from the Marine Command, with support from the Nigerian Navy who brought them to shore.
The Tactical team in the area later took the rescued five kidnap victims including the boat captain and his assistant home on Banana Island on Tuesday.
