Lakurawa terrorists have attacked the Nigeria Immigration point in Bakin Ruwa, along Maje border in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State, North-West Nigeria, killing three officers.
The attack, which occurred on Thursday’s midnight, has sparked fear and panic in the area.
Reports say the officers had taken cover in a mosque close to their point, but the terrorists followed them and began firing sophisticated arms, setting the mosque ablaze while the officers were inside. The terrorists are believed to have been carrying rocket launchers, given the power of their firearms.

The officers’ quarters were also completely burnt down during the attack. This incident comes less than a month after a customs officer was killed and official vehicles were burnt in the same Maje border area.
The Lakurawa group has been linked to several attacks in Kebbi State, targeting security personnel and civilians. The motive behind the attack is still unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
