Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists have attacked Dabna community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, North-East Nigeria killing three people, burning houses, shops and carting away foodstuff.
Community members say, the attackers came on motorcycles in early hours of Monday, shooting sporadically and killing three people in the operation that lasted for several hours.

Residents further said that the terrorists have invaded their communities several times to cart away foodstuff each time they run short of supply but it has never been bloody, except this recent attack
Dabna community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State shares border with some parts of Borno State believed to be the operational base of the Boko Haram terrorists.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police in Adamawa State, CP Afolabi Babatola has confirmed and condemned the attack.
In a statement signed by the Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent Suleman Nguroje, the CP has ordered immediate investigations into the incident and asked the people to go about their activities as normalcy has been restored in the affected areas.
Dabna community is just few kilometers away from Garaha, the home town of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
