Four persons, three soldiers, and a Vigilante member have been killed by gunmen in Yakila, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
The four persons lost their lives in an encounter with the bandits, numbering more than thirty on fifteen motorcycles.

The Senior Special Assistant to Niger State governor on Security Affairs, Colonel Maikundi confirmed the incident to journalists on Tuesday.
The Special Assistant said some of the bandits have been killed by the Security Agencies who are in their pursuit.
