The Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Natasha Akpoti has been attacked on her way to attend the INEC stakeholders meeting in Lokoja.
Akpoti was attacked a few hours after she called for the postponement of the November sixteen gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
Natasha Akpoti who flagged off her campaign on Monday was expected to continue with her campaign at the Kogi west district.
Reacting to the attack the SDP governorship candidate says she no longer has faith in Kogi State commissioner of police Akim Busari.
She called on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently intervene before the situation gets out of hand in Kogi State.
Natasha Akpoti who recently won her case against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at the federal high court is one of the strong candidates in the November sixteen governorship election in Kogi State.
