The spokesperson of the Abia State government, John Kalu, has called on the Federal Government to convoke another national conference so as to address issues causing agitations in the country.
Kalu urged the government at the centre to be decisive before things get out of hand, noting that this is the first time Nigeria is facing what he termed a “generalized insecurity”.

The Abia State Information Commissioner advises those attacking Police officers and government establishments to desist from such criminal acts, stressing that their action is not the solution to their agitations.
Kalu while recalling the incident of #EndSars last year, said there is a need for State police to enable Governors to take full control of security during some emergency situations.
On what he described as misconceptions about the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Kalu said the proscription was by the federal government through the court and not the southeast Governors.
