The Cross River State Government has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to come to the aid of the state Government over the destructions and looting of investors’ property worth billions of Naira in Tinapa Buinsess resort.
The Commissioner for Finance, Asuquo Ekpeyong Junior, made the call when he led the Tinapa host communities to clean up the debris at the two burnt warehouses of the Trade Zone.
Ekpeyong, who said attacks on Tinapa went beyond looting, explained that the angry youths were organised criminals trying to destroy the image of Cross River State as a peaceful state and investment destination.
He called on the Federal Government to provide bailout funds for the free trade zone resort which has been given government at the centre revenue through the Nigeria Customs Service.

The General Manager, (Operations),Tinapa Resort, Francis Ekom said Federal Government Intervention would bring more revenue to the country.
