President Bola Tinubu has asked the Senate to confirm the appointment of Gbenga Alade as Managing Director, alongside three others, as members of the board of directors for the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, (AMCON).
This is contained in a letter read by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Tuesday in plenary.
President Tinubu says the nomination is by the provisions of Section 10(1) of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, (Establishment) Act, 2019 (as amended).

The nominees include:
Gbenga Alade, Managing Director,
Aminu Ismail, Executive Director,
Adeshola Lamidi, Executive Director
Lucky Adaghe, Executive Director.
