Tinubu Commends Gov Ododo Over Impressive Start In Office As Governor

President Bola Tinubu has commended Governor Usman Ododo for his impressive start in office as Governor of Kogi State and assured of his continued support for the Governor in his efforts to transform the state.

President TINUBU gave the commendation when the KOGI state governor visited the presidential villa on Wednesday to brief him on the security situation in Kogi State and efforts by his administration to improve on the security architecture to enhance performance in securing lives and property in all parts of the state.

The President assured the kogi Chief executive of his continued support in his efforts to transform the state.

The Governor commended President Tinubu on his efforts to ensure prompt intervention to address food security challenges in the country and intimated him with the positive feedback from the people of Kogi State following the distribution of food palliatives in the state last month, promising that the exercise will be a continuous one throughout the year.

Governor Ododo also assured the president of his commitment to ensure food security in the state with the clearing of hectares of land and subsidy for farmers in the state to boost food production, improve processing facilities and access to market.

The Governor also commended President Tinubu for the speed and commitment demonstrated by the federal ministry of works towards achieving timely completion of federal road projects in Kogi State, stressing that the Abuja-Lokoja-Benin road was currently receiving high level attention that reflects the determination of the federal government to complete the project within stipulated timeframe.
