President Bola Tinubu has condemned the suicide bombing in Konduga, Borno State, describing the attack as “cowardly.”
He expressed condolences to the government and people of Borno, directing the National Emergency Management Agency to support survivors.
Meanwhile, the President also sympathized with families affected by a scrap metal factory explosion in Kano, which claimed five lives and injured 10 others.
President Tinubu in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga emphasized the importance of workplace safety measures and tasked relevant authorities with investigating the incident.
The President urged security agencies to intensify efforts to root out remnants of Boko Haram Insurgents, who often target soft targets.
