President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja for a two-nation official visit to Japan and Brazil.
According to a statement from the Presidency, the President will make a stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, before proceeding to Japan, where he will attend the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).
While in Japan, Tinubu is expected to engage with Japanese government officials, business leaders, and development partners to attract investments into Nigeria’s economy.

The President will later travel to Brazil for high-level bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening trade, energy cooperation, and cultural ties between both nations.
He is expected back in the country after the conclusion of his engagements in Brazil.
