Tinubu Says Perpetrators Of Yobe Killings Will Be Brought To Justice

President Bola Tinubu has assured the people of Yobe State that killers of Farmers in Mafa, Tarmuwa local government area of Yobe state will be brought to justice.

The President made the statement when he commiserated with the government and the people of Yobe over the killings, condemning the incident as an atrocious and cowardly act of terror by a degraded group of criminals.

The statement by the President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale says
President Tinubu also extends his condolences to bereaved families,

He prays for the repose of the souls of the deceased and speedy recovery for the wounded.
According to local government officials
Dozens of people have died and several are missing after an attack by suspected Boko Haram terrorists in the north-eastern Yobe state.

Yobe state police spokesperson, Abdulkarim Dungus told Journalists that
Around 150 suspected Boko Haram terrorists armed with rifles and RPGs [rocket-propelled grenades] attacked Mafa ward on more than 50 motorcycles around 4pm on Sunday,”
