Authorities of the National Assembly have confirmed the postponement of the 2025 budget presentation by President Bola Tinubu earlier scheduled for Tuesday, December 17.
The presentation of the budget proposal to the joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives will now hold on Wednesday, July 18. No reason has been given for the postponement.
In a memo obtained by AIT.live, Secretary of Human Resources and Staff Development in the Office of the Clerk to the National Assembly, Dr. Umar Alkali directed “staff to resume their normal duties tomorrow, as the controlled entry instructions earlier given would be observed on Wednesday, 18th December, 2024.
