Nigeria’s Men and Women Basketball Teams, have both been drawn in group B of the Tokyo 2020 basketball events.
The Tigress has a more challenging task than D’Tigers, as they will face the world and Olympic champions, the United States, the European powerhouse, France, and host japan.
The Nigerian Tigress,lost to the eventual world champions, the USA in the quarter-final, at the 2018 fiba women’s world cup in tenerife Spain, before losing to France in a classification game at the same tournament.

The coach otis hugely tutored side will be hoping to rewrite history by advancing to the knockout stage. Meanwhile, the men’s team will face Australia and two of the successful teams from the olympic qualifying tournament which holds from June 29 to July 4, 2021.
24 nations divided into six teams, will compete in four tournaments across four cities in Europe.
