President of the National Institute of Town Planners, Olutoyin Ayinde has accused President Muhammad Buhari, of what he calls placing the cart before the horse over a recent presidential approval to review Grazing reserves in some states of the federation.
The NITP President Says the decision is not in line with the principles of Town planning, stressing that it won’t solve the ongoing problems.
Ayinde at an interactive session with journalists in Abuja also calls on both federal and state governments to implement the letter, the urban and regional planning laws and promulgated years ago.

The former commissioner for Lands and Town planning in Lagos state says beyond Towns, urban and regional planning, there is an urgent need for population planning ahead of a population explosion projection.
The National Institute of Town Planners is a non-governmental umbrella body for urban and regional Planners, practicing in Nigeria.
