The Garki International market in the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, has been reopened by the FCT administration after six days of closure over poor sanitation.
Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Monitoring Inspection and Enforcement, Ikharo Attah, said the market was reopened on Wednesday after a painstaking inspection and certification.
Traders Jubilated as the FCTA reopened the Garki International market on Wednesday afternoon after two days of inspection by officials of the administration led by the senior special Assistant to FCT Minister on monitoring, Inspection, and enforcement, Ikharo Attah.

The Management of the Garki International market appreciated the FCT administration for listening to the cries of the traders and reopening the market for business activities.
Officials of the FCTA expressed satisfaction with the management and traders of the market for swinging into action to ensure that the sanitary condition of the market meets set standards.
