Traders operating under the umbrella of Imo State Amalgamated Market and Traders Association, ISAMATA have embarked on a protest march against the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, for instigating workers strike in the state, not minding the hardship faced by Nigerians at the moment.

The market women and men expressed their misgivings during their protest to the Government House, Owerri to seek government’s intervention.

The placard-carrying traders in their numbers marched to Government House, Owerri, protesting against the strike called by the Labour leader, Joe Ajaero.

The traders believe the industrial action has the potency to worsen the excruciating hardship occasioned by the present high cost of fuel, cash crunch and inadequate power supply.
