Traditional ruler tasks FG, Niger State government on ending banditry

Residents of Rafi, Mariga Munya, and Shiroro Local Government Areas of Niger State have called on the Federal and State Governments, to intensify efforts in combating banditry attacks

Sarkin Yaqin Kagara, Ibrahim Ahmad in an interview with AIT says, lives and properties worth millions of Naira have been lost.

He adds that the living standards of the people have gradually deteriorated, as their economic activities have been grounded, and a lot of people can not go about their normal activities.

Sarkin Yaqi expresses concern on how the bandits have been launching endless attacks on daily basis on Kagara, Shiroro, Mariga and Munya, with impunity.

He urges the People of the areas to assist security agencies with information that will curb the activities of the bandits.
