Traditional Rulers have been enjoined to encourage traditional title holders to adopt the renovation of at least one block of classrooms in their emirates.

The measure, according to the Senior Special Assistant to Niger State Governor on Education, Lawal Abugi, will go a long way in addressing the long negligence that the educational sector has been contending with.
Lawal Abugi maintained that students and pupils across the public primary and secondary schools in Niger State once the right atmosphere is provided, can excel in their chosen professions.

He stressed the need for the government and the private sectors to come together to chart a common goal, of the provision of quality education for all school-age children.
Governor Abubakar Bello, whose message was delivered by his Deputy, Ahmad Ketso, assured that the state will continue to partner with individuals and organizations with clear objectives and mission, of improving the lives of the people of the state.
Ahmad Ketso maintained that the government will not relent on its efforts, of ensuring that children of school age, access qualitative education.
He stressed that provisions have been made for the Almajiri System of Education, where some core subjects have been integrated, which is yielding the desired results.
