At the main entrance, only select journalists were allowed into the court premises, as operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS said, they were working with a designated list.
Security operatives also made frantic efforts to disperse the few IPOB supporters who had gathered outside the premises of the court.
The Convener of the Revolution Now Movement, Omoyele Sowore, was also denied access to the court, and his exchange of words with the security operatives, led to his apprehension by the police.
As at the time of filing this report it was not clear whether Sowore was actually remanded in police custody or let go, as he was whisked away by the police.
