Some angry commercial Tricycle operators popularly called Keke Marwa stormed the Lagos station of DAAR Communications PLC, Alagbado on Thursday over what they termed the undue harassment from some suspected hoodlums operating along Meiran axis.
According to their spokesman, Olaniyi Olayinka their mission to DAAR Communications Plc office, operators of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Raypower’ FM and Faaji Fm was to alert the world that their lives are in danger as they called on the state Governor, Babajide Sanwuolu to intervene before the matter gets out of control.
He alleged that despite their members reporting the matter to the Palace and the Police station at Meiran, nothing had since been done as the suspected hoodlums continued with their threats.
When AIT contacted the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, he assured that the Command will surely deal with the matter once it’s brought to their attention by the aggrieved commercial Tricycle operators.
