Five suspects who allegedly took part in the Christmas eve attacks on Bokkos, Barkin Ladi and Mangu LGAs of Plateau State have been arrested.
The suspects were paraded along with others at the Special Task Force Operation Safe Haven headquarters in Jos with 79 victims rescued after their abduction.
It is another breakthrough for the Special Task Force deployed to maintain peace in Plateau, parts of Bauchi and Southern Kaduna, following the arrest of five wanted suspects who allegedly took part in the Christmas eve massacre in Bokkos, Mangu and Barking Ladi LGA of Plateau State and other suspects for various crimes committed after weeks of intelligence operations.

The Operation Safe Haven also announced the arrest of some suspects identified in a viral video in which an unidentified man was murdered in Mangu recently.
According to the Special Task Force, 271 suspects were arrested with arms and ammunitions of various grades and categories within the last one month.
