In continuation of its mandate to rid Plateau State, Bauchi, and Southern Kaduna of criminality, Operation Safe Haven has arrested the gang of criminals involved in the burning down of Saint Raphael Church at Fadan Kamantan Village, in Zangon Kataf, in which a seminarian was killed.
They were among the eight paraded suspects who have been arrested by the special task force for various crimes with an assortment of weapons.
It appears the Special Troops deployed to maintain peace on the Plateau, Bauchi, and Southern Kaduna, Operation Safe Haven, are not leaving anything to chance in the fight against crime in their areas of operation, as the strategies recently adopted under the command of General Abdulsalam Abubakar, are yielding positive results.

Among those paraded is Dauda Lot, who, together with his accomplice Abubakar Mato, murdered Mrs Dorothy Jonathan on September 1, 2023, after they had forceful carnal knowledge of her.

The special task force also paraded suspects in connection with the burning down of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Zangon Kataf, in which a seminarian, Na’aman Danladi, was killed.

The task force used the opportunity to thank law-abiding citizens for their support and warned those with criminal intent to have a change of heart, before the law catches up with them.
