Troops of Operation Forest Sanity have killed four bandits during clearance operations in identified hideouts around Tsohon Gayan, Chikun LGA of Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria.
State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan made this known in a statement.
He explained that the troops made contact and pursued the fleeing bandits and in the process killed two of the bandits during the engagement, while credible human intelligence sources revealed that two others died from gunshot wounds. Two of the four terrorists killed were identified as Dogo Mallam and Bello Mallam.

The troops also recovered one AK47 rifle, one magazine with 22 rounds of ammunition and one motorcycle.
The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai expressed satisfaction with the report, and praised the troops for their resilience and courage in the latest success. He said clearance operations will continue in the general area and other locations across the State.
