Troops kill three Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists in Damasak, Borno State

Troops of 5 Brigade, Sector 3 of the Joint Task Force North East, Operation Hadin Kai, have killed some Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province Terrorists, ISWAP, terrorists in Damask, Borno State, North-East Nigeria

A statement by the spokesperson, Brigadier-General Onyema Nwachukwu says the troops, while conducting clearance operation, code named Operation Dominance I, came in contact with the terrorists at an illegal market operated in Gallo Malawari village.

In the fierce encounter, three of the terrorists were killed while others, bowing to superior firepower retreated in disarray.

Troops recovered one AK-47 Rifle, a truck, two motorcycles, four empty magazines and rounds of 7.62mm ammunition among others.
