Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, have continued to sustain momentum against terrorism, recording major breakthroughs between 21 and 27 September 2025, across Borno and Adamawa States.
During the period, a total of 14 terrorists were neutralised in coordinated operations across multiple locations.
On 27 September, troops during offensive operations neutralised 11 terrorists at Loskori Kura, in the Mafa Local Government Area where they recovered 4 AK-47 rifles and other assorted arms, ammunition and a cache of drugs.

Another terrorist was neutralised on the same day at Konduga LGA, during a night offensive operation.
On 22 September, troops neutralised a Boko Haram scout at Kolori Karumi, west of Alau Dam in the Konduga Local Government Area.
Similarly, on 24 September, a fighting patrol in Zar Village, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State recovered one AK-47 rifle, while troops at Forward Operating Base Magumeri, intercepted another rifle from 2 suspected kidnappers.
On 25 September, gallant troops repelled a large-scale attack on Forward Operating Base, Azir in Damboa, killing one insurgent, and recovering 3 AK-47 rifles and materials for improvised explosive devices.
In addition to these operational successes, troops intensified strangulation efforts to deny terrorists access to logistics.

On 27 September, forces intercepted large quantities of urea fertiliser, abandoned in shops at the Central Market, Mubi North, Adamawa State; an item often used in producing explosives.
The same day, patrols recovered 20 jerrycans of smuggled Premium Motor Spirit along Fillin Ball–Gella Road in Mubi South, after smugglers fled the area.
These actions further deny insurgents critical resources, required to sustain their campaign of violence.
The Military High Command commends the troops for their gallantry, and reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining aggressive operations against terrorism in the Northeast.
