A student of Calvary International Ministry also known as CAPRO, Kevin Eze, who was abducted on Thursday, April 29 by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen has been rescued.
It would be recalled that the gunmen stormed the school located in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, few kilometres away from the Yakubu Gowon Airport Heipang where they abducted 2 students but 1 escaped during the gun duel with security operatives while the other was taken away by the abductors.
Eze, was rescued in the early hours of Sunday by Troops of Operation Safe Haven in Plateau State which was achieved through intelligence without the payment of ransom.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Jos by the Media Officer of Operation Safe Haven, OPSH, Major Ibrahim Shittu, the rescued student is hale and hearty and has been reunited with other students in the College.

OPSH also reassures law abiding citizens of their safety and its determination to bring lasting peace across its Joint Operational Areas, therefore solicits for further support and cooperation of the general public.
