The incoming president of the United States, Donald Trump has appointed the Chairman of the Nigerian Conglonerate, SCOA, Massad Boulos as his special envoy on Arab and Middle East affairs.
Trump made the announcement on social media on Sunday, describing the 53-year-old Boulos, who holds Nigerian citizenship, as a deal-maker and an unwavering promoter of peace in the Middle East.
Boulos is Lebanese-American and also holds citizenship in France though he is of Greek origin.
Boulous’ grandfather had set up car sales, logistics, and distribution businesses in Nigeria in the 1950s.
He ran the family business for many more years until passing the role of Chief Executive Officer to his son, Michael, who is married to Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany.
