Leaders of the Tudun Biri community have denied taking legal action against the Federal Government demanding 33 billion Naira in compensation.
They denied the allegation when they visited Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani at the Government House.
In the aftermath of the drone attack on the Tudun Biri community, where numerous lives were lost, the grieving community, during a visit to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, strongly rejected claims of instituting legal proceedings and demanding 33 billion Naira in compensation from the Federal Government.
Still grappling with the traumatic aftermath of the drone assault, the community emphasised that those spreading such reports are exploiting their vulnerability.
They also appealed to the Federal Government for employment opportunities, especially for the majority of the unemployed graduates in the community.
Recognising the severity of the situation, Governor Uba Sani pledged to crack down on those seeking to exploit the community’s vulnerability, ensuring protection from undue manipulation.
Governor Sani also announced the establishment of a dedicated committee, to facilitate timely and effective government assistance for those affected by the tragedy.
