Students of Kaduna State University, KASU, are calling on the state government to reverse its decision of increasing tuition fee by over five hundred percent.

The students who took their protest to the Kaduna State House of Assembly said, considering the economic hardship in the country, it will be difficult for most students to pay the new fee.

According to them, the situation if not handled properly will further add to the insecurity problems bedeviling the state.

The students who resorted to prayers, said that the matter is now beyond them.

Meanwhile the Kaduna State University management has suspended all academic activities for undergraduates until further notice pending when the issue is resolved.
