The two Polio Vaccination Health Workers abducted by gunmen while discharging their duties in the Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State have regained freedom.
ait.live gathered that a combined patrol team of Youths of Beri and Rijiyar Nagwamatse Communities in the Kontagora Local Government Area trailed the gunmen to their den.
The combined team in large number who were well armed, stormed the suspected hideouts of the gunmen, chanting war songs in their languages.

According to a native of Beri, the abducted Polio Vaccination Health Workers are members of the community.
They were reunited with their families, shortly after regaining freedom.
