Two people have been confirmed dead and many others Injured as a passenger train ran into a Lagos State government Staff bus at PWD junction in the Ikeja area of the state on Thursday.
The first passanger train which was coming from Ijoko to Iddo met a BRT vehicle with the Lagos state government workers on board crossing the rail track to link Ikeja GRA .

The Managing Director of Nigerian Railway Corporation Fidet Okhiria who confirmed the incident to AIT said the BRT Bus driver erroneously attempted to cross the rail line before the train which eventually did not happen.
Okhiria said the casualty figure from the accident is yet to be ascertained.
