Two NYSC officials declared missing along Onitsha-Owerri Highway

Two officers of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC have been declared missing in transit along Onitsha-Owerri Highway on Monday, July 29, 2024.

NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa made the announcement in a statement.

The officers include the NYSC Akwa-Ibom State Coordinator, Okun Christopher and his driver, Daniel Effiong Asibong who were on transit to Uyo in Akwa-Ibom in a white official Hilux vehicle with registration number 27D31FG when they were last communicated with.

According to the NYSC management, all efforts to locate their whereabout has yielded no result till date.

Anyone with useful information regarding their whereabout should contact any of the 37 NYSC State Secretariats, Area Offices and the National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja or the nearest police station or other security agencies for prompt action.
