At least two women and a 17-year-old minor were on Tuesday hit by stray bullets after trigger-happy police officers allegedly shot to clear a gridlock at the Tombia/Etegwe roundabout axis of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Although no lives was lost, the unfortunate incident, however, left the women and the minor with various degrees of bullet wounds.
Meanwhile, the Bayelsa State Police Command, in a statement released to journalists, noted that the patrol team allegedly responsible for the unprovoked attack on the innocent women has been identified and taken to custody.
