At least six countries have qualified for this year’s Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final stage in Egypt.
This follows the conclusion of Thursday’s group stage fixtures.
Senegal defeated DR Congo 2-0, while Ghana won 1-0 against Central African Republic.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles had on Wednesday played a 2-2 draw with Kenya.
Morocco defeated fellow North Africans Tunisia 3-1 to advance to the last-8.

The six countries that have qualified for the quarter-final stage are Nigeria, Senegal, Morocco, Ghana, Sierra Leone and DR Congo.
The remaining two countries that will join the six in the last-8 will be determined this Friday.
Tanzania will face Egypt, Nigeria to tackle Senegal, while South Africa will take on Zambia.
The winners will qualify for the quarter-final which will commence on Monday.
