The war in the Middle East and the United States bombing of 3 Iranian nuclear sites has seen the American embassy in Nigeria ask its citizens in Abuja to be security conscious.
In an advisory seen by AIT, the Embassy told Americans to be cautious and avoid going near any military bases and government buildings in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.
Consular services will however continue to be offered at not just the Embassy in Abuja, but also at the Consulate in Lagos.
U. S bombers struck 3 iranian nuclear sites early on Sunday, an action that has drawn mixed reactions by global powers.
UN secretary general, Antonio Guteress has described the U.S action as an escalation of the already tense situation as the war between Iran and Israel intensifies 8 days on.
