Play was suspended for 15 minutes in the UEFA Europa League play-off match between Anderlecht and Fenerbahce on Thursday because of crowd trouble.
Youssef En-Nesyri had given Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce a fourth-minute lead before the game was stopped due to external fighting in the stands.
The players were then taken off the pitch with a message on the screen saying the match was suspended because of inappropriate behaviour among spectators
When play resumed, Anderlecht equalised in the 19th minute through Luis Vazquez, who later put the Belgians ahead with a fine finish into the bottom corner.
That made it 4-2 to Fenerbahce on aggregate, having led 3-0 from the first leg of the knockout round tie.
But Yusuf Akcicek nodded in from close range to equalise on the night and restored the visitors’ three-goal advantage.
Fenerbahce will now face either Rangers or Olympiacos in the last 16
