The managing director of the Niger Delta development commission NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku has been honoured by the university of ibadan UI as the “ambassador extraordinaire of the university of UI at 75.
The award to Samuel ogbuku was in response to his commitment towards improving the lives of the people of Niger Delta region and humanity.

The vice Chancellor of the university of ibadan, Professor kayode Adebowale, said the honour to Samuel ogbuku was in celebration of seventy five years existence of the University of Ibadan, while honouring individuals who played significant roles in building a better society.

The managing director of the NDDC, Samuel ogbuku who dedicated the honour to the management and staff, assured that the NDDC will continue to implement policies and programmes for the benefit of people of the Niger Delta region.
He said the NDDC was ready to collaborate with universities in areas of research and development
Ogbuku said such collaboration will help grow the nation’s economy, create employment and reduce capital flight.
