The United Kingdom, UK is keen on supporting peace and prosperity in Nigeria, particularly in Plateau State with a willingness to contribute to Agricultural development and security training initiative.
This was made known by the UK High Commissioner To Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, during a visit to Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Government House in Jos.
While appreciating the UK Government for its support to Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang said his administration is doing everything possible to achieve peace and forge unity among the people.

The Governor also voiced his commitment to improving the livelihoods of citizens through good governance and strategic partnership aimed at fostering development and growth.
Offering condolences for the December 2023 deadly security incidents in Plateau State, the High Commissioner pledged the UK’s support in aiding the State Government’s peace building and prosperity efforts.
