The interactive meeting was organized by the National Population Commission(NPC).

Since the proclamation of the 2023 National Population and Housing Census by President Muhammadu Buhari, the commission has engaged itself with a number of activities, including trial census preparatory to the April 2023 exercise.

The foreign and domestic partners assured NPC of their readiness to provide supports that will aid the smooth conduct of the census exercise and ensure that it meets with global standards.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman, National Population Commission, Isa Kwarra said a digital method of census will be deployed to give Nigerians and development partners a census data that will be used for national planning.

The meeting was aimed at broadening knowledge on the level of preparation for the forthcoming census. It was also to galvanize support from relevant stakeholders.
