It is not clear yet whether the Organised Labour in the country will go ahead with its scheduled nationwide protest slated for Wednesday over the fuel subsidy removal.
This is just as the Labour unions reject some of the measures put forward by the federal government to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
Addressing state house correspondents after a meeting with government representatives on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, the labour unions say they will discuss the appeal made by government with their members to shelve the proposed protests scheduled to start tomorrow, Wednesday.
The Labour Unions also demanded for a wage award from the federal government since the committee on the minimum wage has not been constituted.
